It is usefull in case of synastry. 3.Interval With this option you can get the list o the configuration from a time interval. You can set up also the time step: hour, day, month. 4.Combined This is the most complex analysis and you can see all the configuration that are made between a fixed chart and a time interval. Configuration Hunter is a freeware astrology software built on Swiss Ephemeris from www.astrodients.com. The main purpose of this software is to assist you search and identify various astral configurations. For the moment only the following configurations are supported: -Grand Trine -T-MINOR -T-SQUARE -KITE -Rectangle -Grand Cross Elements supported within the current version: - Sun - Moon - Mercury - Venus - Mars - Jupiter - Saturn - uranus - Neptune - Pluto 2. What types of analysis can I make? There are 4 types of analysis that can be performed. Single Chart analysis Search for configurations within a single chart. Interval analysis Search for configurations within a time interval. You can select the start date and end date of interval and also the time step (daily, hourly and monthly). In this case the time zone, latitude, longitude and daylight are typed only once on start date. All other chart from the interval are computed using this values. Two static charts analysis It search for configuration between static charts. It can be used to find configuration between a natal chart and specific time chart for example. This analysis is not counting the configuration that might exist in a single chart only. In the result grid C1 planets are the planets from the first chart and C2 planets from the second chart. For this type of analysis the planets selection it will apply only for second chart. For example if you are not selecting the moon the results will contain all configuration that contain moon from the first chart but not the moon from second chart. Combined analysis This type of analysis allows you to search configuration that might appear between a fixed chart and a time interval chart. It's very usefull for searching configuration made by planets in your natal chart and planets in transit in a specific time interval. In the result grid C1 planets are the planets from the first chart and C2 planets from the second chart. For this type of analysis the planets selection it will apply only for second chart. For example if you are not selecting the moon the results will contain all configuration that contain moon from the first chart but not the moon from second chart. 3. What are the input values? For searching configuration you have to type the chart details. Based on type of the analysis you will have to enter 1, 2 or 3 chart details. Values to be entered are: - Year, month and day - Time : hour and minute and should have the following format hh:mm and 24hours format (ex. 03:00pm should be typed 15:00) - Time Zone: the time difference between your location and GMT. For West zone shoud be +hh:mm and for East zone -hh:mm. - Latitude - Longitude - Daylight: Yes for summer time and No for winter time - Step : the time step that will be take in consideration for Interval and Combined Analysis. For hourly an hour it will be always added to the current date (first chart at the begining) until second chart date it will be reached. Same for daily and monthly. The software has some pre-built interval limitation that will reduce the risk of blocking you computer. You can de-select this feature from Option menu. 4. Tell me more about output value? All the results are displayed in the main grid of the screen. This grid contains the following information: - Date - Time (GMT hour) - Config : configuration name - Description: the configuration elements. For Two static charts and Combined analysis C1 represents the planets from the first chart and C2 from second chart. You can select the output desired from View Option pane (top right of the screen): - Degree: the planets are displayed by their exact degree value - Zodiacal Sign : the planets are displayed by their zodiacal sign (ex. taurus) - Fire/Earth/Air/Water: the planets are displayed by the element of the sign - Cardinal/Fix/Mutable: the planets are displayed by the cardinality of the sign - YANG/YIN After selection the Search button must be pressed again! 5.
